Medicinal Plants of the World
by Ben-Erik van Wyk and Michael Wink
A beautiful book and the latest edition to my collection, Medicinal Plants of the World is a hardcover book with beautiful color photos of over 320 medicinal plants found throughout the world. It includes botanical descriptions, parts used, uses, preparations and active ingredients. Plants are listed in alphabetical order by Latin name. Although not a good guide for identification of plants, it is a good reference on basic uses of the plants, and has pictures of herbs I've never seen color photos of before. A great find.
